I didn't have IF issues to deal with, but I am about the same way through as you are (EDD 14 July) so have really enjoyed reading and going on the journey with you...Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09911224831127618376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8347464733373565708.post-14728184930487467842010-11-14T09:12:19.410+13:002010-11-14T09:12:19.410+13:00I've never changed one either! I am sure you ...I've never changed one either! I am sure you will both learn quickly and do fine. At a lot of the hospitals in my area, they do "mommy and daddy training classes" where they show you stuff like changing diapers and bathing the baby and what-not. I think that my hubby and I are definitely going to take a class like that! That bear is so cute with his little diaper on!Embyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02026694685055132378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8347464733373565708.post-58800392872571627382010-11-13T15:58:48.248+13:002010-11-13T15:58:48.248+13:00This is how I taught my legally blind husband who ...This is how I taught my legally blind husband who up until 3 weeks before our son was born had not even held a baby! Fun times were garenteed when I had a c-section and the first few nappies were dirty ones and I was trapped in bed unable to move.Jodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12333552745335740854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8347464733373565708.post-6378078679367100192010-11-12T13:46:53.556+13:002010-11-12T13:46:53.556+13:00Have you thought about going cloth? There is so many to choose from, you should see my stash its huge, I have probably over 50 pockets and about 15 AIO/SIO ittis. It is so easy, one load a day, first thing in the morning, they dry during the day and if they are not quite ready they go in the dry for 5 mins. Way nicer than stinking nappies in plastic bags for a week while you wait for the rubbish truck, and they are cheaper, and dont fill up landfills. Omg listen to me, ranting away. Anyway congrats on your BFP, I have been stalking this blog for a while :)Aethalianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8347464733373565708.post-71212078858489229532010-11-11T23:47:08.236+13:002010-11-11T23:47:08.236+13:00Haha, trust me, you will be an expert soon..

I had a c-section and the first couple of days either my husband or the nurse changed the nappy for the baby since I was very sore. On the second night I decided to change the nappy on my own. It was horrible, there was sticky poo everywhere, my baby was screaming her head off when I got her undressed and I was very nervous and insecure. It went relatively well until I started to hesitate whether the belly button clip should go inside or outside the nappy.. And the baby was crying even louder.. I freaked out and started to cry, felt like a useless new mum and called the nurse in.. Phew. <br />It was horrible at the time, but I just laugh now!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8347464733373565708.post-80717903541003481592010-11-11T22:04:36.218+13:002010-11-11T22:04:36.218+13:00Bahaha - Couldn't find the cat!!! hahahaha You...Bahaha - Couldn't find the cat!!! hahahaha You crack me up hon.
